B Corp certified

2024 has started as a big year for Jump In Puddles, we’re now a Certified B Corporation. Part of the process in gaining this was to carry out an Impact Report.

What is B Corp Certification?
B Corp Certification means that a company has been verified as meeting B Lab’s high standards for social and environmental impact, that it has made a legal commitment to stakeholder governance, and that it is demonstrating accountability and transparency by disclosing this record of performance in a public B Corp profile.

Why create an impact Report?
As social impact is at the heart of what we do, it is vital that we role model this ourselves and that we support other organisations that share this ethos and practice. One of our values is Integrity and we want to do the right thing. Not everything we do works but reporting makes us more aware of areas of improvement.

Below are some of the areas we looked at.

What Our Clients Say About Us

Alex Aggidis

Head of Individual Giving, Friends of the Earth

“Jump in Puddles’ approach has meant that we achieved our goals. There was a real shared sense of ownership of the project. Everyone was involved right from the start, and were engaged throughout, including ideas generation sessions, builds etc. Furthermore, the primary insight that was collected at the start of the project has been shared far and wide across the organisation, and is already helping to shape other projects and thinking.”

Emily Cummin

Founder and CEO, Untangle Grief

“Janine is utterly fantastic. I met her when I was at the start of my founder journey over two years ago, she’s been a consistent and trusted mentor and advisor ever since.

Over the years she’s helped me develop our value proposition, strategy, cultural principles and fundraising materials. Janine is the master of transforming messy and complicated thoughts in to a clear structure and message. She’s a master at problem solving, no challenge is too big or small for her; she always has the right methodology to find a neat solution.

Recently, she ran a LEGO strategy workshop for the whole Untangle team. It enabled us to break out of our normal way of thinking and playfully explore new ideas. We’ve never had so much fun in a productive planning session!

I can’t recommend Janine highly enough.”

Alice Whyborn

Director of Supporter Projects and Innovation, The Children’s Society

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Janine on a number of business critical fundraising innovation projects. I have always found Janine to be both a consummate professional and an absolute joy to work with. Her infectious enthusiasm and passion for the charity sector is matched only by her impressive level of experience and knowledge.

Her flair for new ideas and ways of thinking have consistently served the projects she has consulted on with me very well indeed. We have seen some real, tangible successes as a result of working with her – from new products piloted to improved internal ways of working. I would highly recommend working with Janine.

Janine Chandler Jump In Puddles Innovation and Marketing Consultancy

Janine Chandler

Chief Puddle Jumper

Hi, I’m Janine Chandler – the Chief Puddle Jumper.

I have 30 years experience in innovation and brand marketing as a client and as a consultant in the commercial, public sector and charity sectors. I’ve done everything from creating J20, to raising £4m for CRUK with Dryathlon, helping people with dementia have healthy sexual relationships and reducing waiting times in the NHS. I am a Trained Facilitator in LEGO® Serious Play® Method and Materials.

I am also Chair of MyBigCareer a charity that connects young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with opportunities where they are supported and inspired to become positive change-makers in their own lives.

So what’s with the name?

When I was thinking of starting my own consultancy, I took my dog, Woof, on a muddy walk and I was reminded of my inspirational friend Jo. Before she died of bowel cancer, her last message to me was to keep jumping in puddles. Life is too short not to live it with joy and to take leaps to make the world better.
